ULTSPOT works without an account. This page lists everything the site keeps, where it keeps it, and what it sends to other services.

What we never ask for

Your plan, the spots you picked, events you added yourself, visits you marked and spending you recorded are stored in this browser's storage.
They are not sent to our server. Clearing this browser's data deletes them.

Only when you press Save to cloud, your trip inputs and the notes on events you added are stored on our server (Supabase) under an anonymous guest ID kept in this browser.
One copy is kept until you delete it with Delete cloud copy. If you clear this browser first, you can no longer reach it.

Only after you agree to create a guest record, we store the place, waiting level, perks left and date you share, visits you choose to record, and your points.
Others see recent updates per place for the last 2 days, never who sent them.
These records have no automatic expiry. Points history cannot be deleted item by item, because the balance is the sum of that history.

Vercel Analytics counts page visits without cookies.
Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to tell visits apart and collects pages viewed, device and browser type and an approximate location. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can block it in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.

To look up routes, nearby places, opening hours and photos, our server sends place names and coordinates to Kakao, the Korea Tourism Organization (TourAPI) and Google.
To rank nearby places, it sends fixed interest phrases from the chips you chose and facts about the places to TypeSafe (Jev).
When you search for a place to add, the words you type are sent to Kakao place search through our server.
When a map is shown, your browser loads it from Google or Kakao.
None of these requests include an account, name or contact detail, because we do not have one.

ultspot-locale remembers your language.
A guest session is kept in this browser only if you use cloud save or live place updates.
Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set when analytics is enabled.
